The Cairo Inaugural Summit marked the historic founding of MESA. Representatives from 10 universities across the region gathered for two days of workshops, keynotes, and collaborative sessions that laid the groundwork for the alliance's first year of operations.
Key outcomes included the ratification of the MESA charter, the election of the inaugural executive board, and the launch of three joint working groups on exchange programs, advocacy, and research collaboration.
